Unorganized
Well hi, my name’s Jasmine, but most people call me either Jazz, or Jasmine, so whichever I don’t really care .I love animals, some say (well my best friend says) that I am addicted to animals, but I find that way untrue.
I have a 10 week old puppy, his name’s Teddy, I call him Teddis a lot for some reason, the same reason I call my cat Pepper, peppies. I have no idea why… I also have 4 birds, they’re an unusual mix, but none live in cages, so they really don’t mind at all. Reminds me, I need to clean my T.V because it’s covered in bird faeces .Anyway… There’s Patrick, he was the first to come, he’s a Cockatiel, I’m assuming about 10 months old. Then there’s Mac (original name was Angel until I discovered him trying to fornicate with Patrick) so I renamed him Mac, he’s a pretty Ringneck Dove, and I love him to bits. (as well as Patrick of course)
Then came along Elmo, he’s a hyperactive little young Budgie, he bobs his head alot, and loves swinging on a coat hanger.
His best friend is B.J, B.J is the eldest of all four birds, he’s around 1 years old, I think Elmo is making him young again as B.J grew up as a show Budgie, and probably didn’t have much fun living in a little breeding cage crammed with lots of other Budgies. So exactly 3 days after I got Elmo, I got B.J, and they are literally unseperable.
I also have 3 Chickens, there’s Ruby, she’s a black feathery little Silkie, he’s really sweet and loves running around the back yard hiding beneath mums vege plants. We’ve had for for a few years now.
She looks kind of funny, with a pom pom head, I’ve always imagined her in a leather jacket with a nose ring.
We also got 2 baby Chicks not long ago, on Monday in fact. They are so cute, only about 8-10 weeks old, and they still chirp like little chicks, it’s so sweet.
Then there’s the cats, we have 5, but including the abandoned cats we have 7.
There’s Tom, he’s the oldest, we had him since he was only about 1 week old because his mum got mauled by a dog, so we had to syringe feed him, and now he’s all grown up. He’s about 7 years old now, and we love him to bits, but sometimes he can be slightly vicious, but that’s Tom, he likes his space, just like anybody.
Then there’s the ginger twins, Gerry & Mischeof (how original huh?!), they’re about 5 years old, Mischeof rarely visits us, because she’s made new friends with the naighbors and their dog Candy. She’s only ever been the 1 dog + 1 cat kind of girl, so at least she’s happy, she still comes up for feeds though.
Gerry is a really nervous cat, because he was the second male of the two, and Tom REALLY did not like that, so evidently Gerry grew up being bullied by the big fat Tony Soprano.
He is a really sweet cat though.
And then there is Kitty, the kitten who never grows (as I call her) she had a miscarriage at a young age, and then something went wrong when she was spayed and she’s just been pretty little ever since.
She is pretty fiesty though, and SO affectionat.
Then came Pepper, she’s a grey oriental which we got from mums best friend. She’s basically half wild and has so much character, she is very much a tom-boy, I love her to bits, but not as much as she loves my birds… >_>
We also have 2 Rabbits, Carrot & Delilah, Carrot had always longed for a mate and about 3 years after we got him, the naighbor rung us up and said she had a rabbit in pretty poor condition, so we took her in, made her better (boy did she stink), and put her in with Carrot, and haha, me thinking I knew everything about rabbits, told mum she was a boy and off they went to have little babies, but it was 1 of the single best experiences of my life.
I was there when she gave birth and she had 2 beautiful girl bunnies. One completely black, and the other completely grey, which is odd because both bunnies are almost completely black, Carrot is maybe 2% white 98% black.
But when they were older, they went off to their new home, and Carrot got fixed, well he got fixed whilst the babies were growing up, so after around 8 weeks he could spend some time with his youngins and his wife and not get anyone preggernant.
And if i’m thinking straight, that’s all the animals we have!
In my next post, i’ll introduce myself a bit more because now I’m going to watch Open Water. :]
